We are looking for a PRN licensed Physical Therapist to provide clinical coverage at our St Petersburg clinic. Requirements

Physiology knowledge
Medical terminology
Anatomy knowledge
Trigger point therapy expertise
Experience working with pediatric patients
Strong patient care abilities
Graduate of a Physical Therapy Program approved by the Commission for the Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education.
Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in Florida.
A person who demonstrates the physical and mental capabilities (practical &/or written, post training competency test) to perform the duties required of the position.
A person who can meet the physical and mental demand level of the position.
Requires the manual dexterity and general strength and endurance
Lifting—routinely loads of 5-35 pounds from Floor to waist
Waist to shoulder
Shoulder to overhead
Carrying—routinely loads of 5-10# for 40-50’
Pushing---routinely loads of 5-150# on casters, runners or pulleys
Sustaining a grip---routinely for 1-2 minutes of 40-50#
Guarding a “lift load” routinely of 120-140#
Has the potential for Hazardous Substance Exposure due to work duties.
Has the potential for Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure due to work duties.
Has been determined as eligible for access to/use of PHI & EPHI based on work duties and responsibilities in compliance with ‘minimal necessary’ standards.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and assess patients' physical conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
Provide hands-on physical therapy to patients using a variety of techniques, including Joint Mobilization.
Educate patients and their families on proper exercise techniques and home care strategies
Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
Ability to perform the day-to-day management of the clinic
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of physical therapy and incorporate new techniques into practice
Participate in marketing programs that educate patients on specific problems.
Participate in key metric setting and follow up with goals set with colleagues.
