About The Position
Genoa Healthcare offers opportunities to serve behavioral health and addiction treatment communities by providing pharmacy care services. The company partners with community-based providers to ensure individuals with complex health conditions receive appropriate medications and adhere to their treatment plans through personalized services like in-clinic pharmacies and medication management. This role is for a Per Diem Pharmacist, classified as a temporary employee, who will perform professional duties related to prescription processing on an intermittent basis. The schedule for Genoa Healthcare Pharmacies is Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, and candidates must have some availability during these hours. The position requires covering Colorado Springs Pharmacies, with mileage and overnight accommodations reimbursed if willing to cover the Denver area as well.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
- Current pharmacist license in state of Colorado
- Driver’s License and access to a reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
- Provides information to customers about medications and their use
- Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
- Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
- Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
- Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties
