How you’ll contribute A Pharmacist who excels in this role: Supervises pharmacy technicians, pharmacy interns, and pharmacy students to ensure accurate medication preparation, dispensing, and adherence to policies and procedures. Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings, providing medication‑related guidance, answering clinical pharmacy questions, and supporting safe medication use across patient care areas. Conducts and support controlled substance audits, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and assisting with discrepancy resolution. Verifies medication orders for appropriateness, safety, and accuracy in accordance with facility protocols. Provides clinical recommendations regarding psychotropic medications, drug interactions, dosing adjustments, and therapeutic alternatives. Ensures compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and hospital standards related to medication management. Assists with medication reconciliation, formulary management, and day‑to‑day pharmacy workflow as needed. Maintains accurate documentation and communicate effectively with providers, nursing, and other clinical staff. Requirements

  • Applicants should have a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (RPh) degree (required).
  • Active pharmacist license in good standing
  • Strong communication, clinical judgement, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing patient care needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Hospital or behavioral health pharmacy experience preferred but not required
