Lakeside’s comprehensive programs treat disorders such as bipolar disorder, psychological trauma, depression and anxiety, mental illness and addictive disease disorders such as alcoholism, drug addiction and substance abuse.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Master's Degree preferred.
• Prefer one year of clinical dietitian experience in a health care environment.
• Prior work with a mental health population strongly desired.
• Licensed by the Tennessee Department of Health as a Registered Dietician.
• Prefer knowledge of age appropriate nutritional assessments and screenings, nutritional counseling and education, dietary planning and food and drug interactions.

Responsibilities

• Assess and supervise the nutritional needs of patients.
• Provide age and developmentally appropriate diet planning and education.
• Assure quality nutritional care is provided to all patients in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Lakeside Behavioral Health and the American Dietetics Association.
