About The Position

Pediatric Partners, a part of the Sevita family, provides comprehensive in-home and clinic-based therapeutic services for children and young adults. Our teams of compassionate pediatric experts help children with medically complex, developmental, behavioral, educational, or other needs learn the skills they need to thrive. We offer physical, occupational, speech-language and feeding therapy, as well as augmentative and alternative communication. PRN Speech-Language Pathologist-Home Health As a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist , you'll work with children who have a wide range of communication, developmental, and medical needs. You'll play a key role in helping each child strengthen their speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities—empowering them to reach their fullest potential.

Requirements

  • Master's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program required
  • Current Texas Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility for licensure) required
  • Pediatric experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • A genuine passion for helping children and families reach their communication goals is essential

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication, swallowing, cognitive-communication, and social interaction skills.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and maintain thorough documentation, including evaluations, daily notes, progress updates, and discharge reports.
  • Collaborate closely with parents and caregivers, providing education and strategies to support ongoing progress at home and in daily routines.
  • Continuously monitor and adjust therapy plans to ensure each child achieves meaningful outcomes.
  • Assess children in their natural environments—such as home, school, or daycare—and recommend strategies to enhance communication and participation.
  • Recommend, introduce, and train families on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems or assistive technology as appropriate.
  • Partner with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, family-centered care.
  • Manage a pediatric caseload, maintaining strong communication with families and assisting with scheduling needs.
  • Complete accurate and timely billing and documentation aligned with provided services.
