Our Day Surgery team plays a vital role in helping children and families feel supported and cared for during outpatient surgical procedures. We're looking for compassionate and detail orientated professionals to join our dedicated Day Surgery family. Hours: Tier 2 PRN: 66 hours per 6 week schedule. A minimum of 96 hours of availability must be submitted and contain the following per 6 week schedule: At least 3 Friday's 30 hours of off shifts. “Off shift” time is defined as after 3pm and must be in 4 or 8 hour blocks. Responsibilities include being a partner in the care management team, providing coordination and management of patient care to pediatric patients and families within a continuum of care and delegating patient activities as appropriate within a care management assignment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing in order to meet the recommended entry level for a professional nurse (or equivalent academic and/or professional experience).
• 2 years of prior nursing experience.
• A license to practice professional nursing in the State of Wisconsin. Candidates must show proof of license on or before first day of employment.
• Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required.
