About The Position

The PRN Patient Service Representative (PSR) at Envision Imaging is responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and facilitating the needs of physicians. This role focuses on ensuring that patients feel prioritized and provides administrative support, including answering phones, data entry, patient check-in/out, and scheduling appointments. The PSR plays a crucial role in maintaining operational excellence and delivering high-quality service in an outpatient clinical environment.

Requirements

• One plus year of experience providing exceptional customer service, preferably in a healthcare environment.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, problem solver, and team player.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls to the Center and provide a friendly greeting to all patients and/or providers.
• Check scheduled patients in/out and ensure proper documentation is received from patients.
• Collect co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles as necessary.
• Listen to and resolve patient, provider, and customer complaints, communicating with PSR Lead and/or Area Manager as needed.
• Ensure accurate data entry for patient registration and assist with medical records as needed.
• Manage eRIS Center workflow, including daily schedule, billing, and report delivery queues.
• Stay informed about known carrier-related issues and identify specific concerns.
• Monitor the schedule and ensure all data and attachments are completed before exams.
• Facilitate no-show appointments by calling patients and rescheduling as needed.
• Monitor the waiting room to avoid extended wait times and assist patients as needed.
• Request orders and process new/same-day requests.
• Request all patients to complete a satisfaction survey after their exam.
