About The Position

The PRN Patient Service Representative (PSR) at Envision Imaging of McKinney is responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and facilitating the needs of physicians. This part-time, as-needed position focuses on ensuring that patients feel prioritized and receive outstanding service. The PSR performs various administrative tasks, including answering phones, data entry, patient check-in/out, scheduling appointments, and managing billing processes, all while maintaining a warm and welcoming environment for patients.

Requirements

• One plus year of experience providing exceptional customer service, preferably in a healthcare environment.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, problem solver, and team player.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls to the Center and provide a friendly greeting to all patients and/or providers.
• Check scheduled patients in/out and ensure proper documentation is received from patients.
• Collect co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles as necessary.
• Listen to and resolve patient, provider, and customer complaints, communicating with PSR Lead and/or Area Manager as needed.
• Ensure accurate data entry for patient registration and assist with medical records as needed.
• Manage eRIS Center workflow, including daily schedule, billing, and report delivery queues.
• Stay informed about known carrier-related issues and identify specific concerns.
• Monitor the schedule and ensure all data and attachments are completed before exams.
• Facilitate no-show appointments by calling patients and rescheduling as needed.
• Monitor the waiting room to assist patients and avoid extended wait times.
• Request orders and process new/same-day requests.
• Request all patients to complete a satisfaction survey after their exam.
