Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelor's of Nursing preferred.
• Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing.
• Certified in Basic Life Support.
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team in the delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Provides professional nursing care to patients, including conducting nursing assessments and assisting with exams and treatment.
• Educates patients and maintains accurate medical records.
• Coordinates the planning for the delivery of nursing care with the healthcare team.
• Administers appropriate clinical decisions in the delivery of patient care.
• Develops and implements discharge and/or transfer plans.
• Participates in ongoing evaluation of programs and process improvement.
• Ensures safe care to patients, staff, and visitors by adhering to all policies and standards.
