About The Position

NovaCare has three OP Ortho locations in Washington DC and we are seeking local PRN Physical Therapists to join our teams. This role is perfect for someone with outpatient experience who values work-life balance. We'll pair our coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that works for you. We have additional clinicians on staff at each location, averaging 10-12 patients per day. Our specialty services include vestibular, concussion, oncology (ReVital), sports medicine, industrial, dry needling, and fall prevention on top of general ortho. You must have at least one year of treating OP ortho to be considered. Center Hours: Weekdays as early as 7A until 8P. The last patient is scheduled an hour before close.

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
• Current State physical therapist license or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
• CPR certification
• At least one year of treating outpatient orthopedics

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional rehabilitation: evaluate, treat, direct, and document
• Stay compliant with state, local, and federal regulations
• Communicate openly with colleagues, patients, families, and physicians
• Participate in team meetings
