As a Nursing Operations Manager, you will support the growth, development and advancement of nurses through their career, allowing you to make a difference in the lives of both patients and caregivers at a leadership level. A caregiver in this position works PRN (as needed) variable shifts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Three years of experience in an acute care setting
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) OR the American Red Cross

Nice To Haves

  • One year of management experience
  • Critical Care/emergency room experience

Responsibilities

  • Identify and ensure appropriate placement, facilitation and expedition of all patient flow transactions, including direct and emergency patient admissions and transfers.
  • Address significant patient issues and staffing needs throughout the house and make modifications to ensure equitable staffing arrangements throughout the hospital.
  • Communicate changes with relevant leaders.
  • Manage the patient experience trans-organizationally to optimize all resources to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
