Requirements
- Strong psychosocial, clinical assessment skills.
- Minimal supervision regarding use of time, able to prioritize work assignments.
- Ability to communicate effectively with professions and clients/families.
- Ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations.
- RN: Graduation from a four-year state accredited school of nursing and one year of experience in psychiatric nursing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- LPN: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and prefer one year of experience in nursing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Provides medication evaluation, medication checks, calls in prescriptions, obtains samples, sometimes may provide individual, group and family therapy and subsequent paperwork.
- Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning, case support activities
- Provides crisis intervention consultation to all members of the team
- Participates in peer review process for therapists
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor
