About The Position

Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive primary and preventive care for patients of all ages—including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and chronic disease management . Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.). Prescribe medications and develop individualized care plans. Provide patient and family education on disease prevention, self-care, and wellness. Maintain accurate EHR documentation in compliance with state/federal guidelines. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure coordinated care. Participate in quality improvement, community health initiatives. Adhere to all clinic policies, regulatory standards, and maintain licensure. Qualifications Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited NP program. Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Mississippi (or eligible to obtain). National NP certification (e.g., ANCC or AANP). Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS preferred. Minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience in primary care or family practice—a rural clinic background is a plus Proficiency with EHR systems. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills. Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care across diverse populations. Requirements
