PRN-Medical Assistant
About The Position
This position is for Medical Assistants to partner with DOCS Health to provide health readiness services to U.S. Military Service members, including the U.S. Army Reserve, Army National Guard, U.S. Navy Reserve, U.S. Marine Forces Reserve, U.S. Coast Guard Reserve, Air National Guard, and U.S. Air Force Reserve. Services are provided to meet medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force. The work will primarily involve weekends, with occasional weekdays, in the State of Florida on an "as needed basis". DOCS Health is an industry leader with over three decades of experience, dedicated to providing care through fixed-clinic, mobile treatment center, telemedicine, and portable deployment models.
Requirements
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Equivalent Training from Accredited Medical Assisting Training
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Passionate, friendly, and caring individual
- Utilize universal precautions for patient care
- Proficient with computer programs
- Must have weekend availability
Nice To Haves
- Phlebotomy Certification
- Minimum One (1) year of experience
- Experience working with military
- Experience working with mobile medical services
