About The Position
North Shore Endoscopy Center is an outpatient endoscopic facility specializing in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases and disorders. Our facility, located in Lake Bluff, Ill., was designed with patient privacy, safety and convenience in mind. Our procedures are performed in a comfortable, unrushed atmosphere at costs nearly half those of a hospital setting. We are currently searching for (PRN) Medical Assistant/Endoscopy Tech to work PRN (as needed) Mondays - Fridays, no call, holidays or weekends, who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Responsible for rendering professional care to patients undergoing procedures within the Center, in accordance with established policies and procedures. Major responsibilities include: varies clerical tasks, greeting patients, updating and filing patients' medical records, recording vital signs, preparing patients for procedures, assisting the physician during endoscopy procedures, cleaning endoscopy scopes, putting supplies away and calling patients pre-operative.
