About The Position

Gateway Rehab Center (GRC) is looking for a PRN LPN or RN for our Washington, PA location. Schedule will vary. Our nurses provide direct patient nursing care which includes administering medication and carrying out therapeutic treatments.

Requirements

• LPN or RN Licensure.
• CPR certified.
• Pass PA Criminal Background Check
• Obtain Child Abuse and FBI Clearances
• Pass Drug
• TB Test
• Valid driver’s license with favorable driving record.
• CPR certification.
• Must be skilled and physically able to perform necessary medical interventions when needed.
• Must demonstrate good judgement, decision making and leadership skills necessary to take responsibility for nursing-related patient care.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years nursing experience
• Critical Care experience

Responsibilities

• Administers medications.
• Carries out prescribed therapeutic treatments.
• Documents nursing observations and patient care rendered.
• Participates in the planning, implementing, and evaluating of nursing care.
• Coordinates with all GRC departments as appropriate.
• Provides patient health education.
