About The Position

We are hiring for PRN Inpatient Therapists! The Windsor-Laurelwood Center for Behavioral Medicine is a 159-bed facility located in beautiful Willoughby, Ohio, which is a short drive from downtown Cleveland. Recognized as a Top Performer by The Joint Commission, the hospital provides 24-hour care and serves children, adolescents, and adults with psychiatric, behavioral health, and substance abuse issues. Our multidisciplinary treatment team includes board certified psychiatrists, psychologists, registered nurses, licensed social workers, case managers, and milieu and activity therapists. Windsor-Laurelwood also features a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit for adults, Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization programs. We are looking for a dynamic therapist with Chemical Dependency experience to join our award winning Outpatient staff and facilitate an IOP group for chemical dependency. As a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team, the Therapist provides direct patient care including: completion of social assessments, formulation of treatment plans, provision of individual, group, family, and special focus group psychotherapy, and completion of discharge and continuing care plans. The Therapist interfaces with referral sources, community service agencies, businesses, employers, and healthcare facilities; the Therapist ensures compliance for quality patient care and compliance with the Joint Commission standards, State Health Department requirements, and all other regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • MSW or Master's degree in Counseling from an accredited college or university.
  • Possess a LSW, LISW, LPC or LPCC issued by the State of Ohio.
  • Two years previous experience in a mental health or substance abuse treatment facility.
  • Direct experience with group therapy, crisis intervention, and treatment planning.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with referral sources, community service agencies, businesses, employers, and healthcare facilities.
