About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner to support our ambulatory infusion centers in the Atlanta and Marietta, GA market on a PRN basis. This role provides advanced clinical care to patients receiving specialty biologic and disease-modifying therapies in a highly collaborative, outpatient setting. The NP will function with a high level of clinical autonomy while working in coordination with supervising physicians, pharmacists, and infusion nursing staff, consistent with Georgia scope-of-practice requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for an NP with infusion or complex chronic disease experience who thrives in a patient-centered, protocol-driven environment. As we continue to expand our infusion services, this PRN role offers the potential to evolve into a permanent, full-time position.

Requirements

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program
  • Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in good standing with the Georgia Board of Nursing
  • Current or eligible collaborative/supervisory agreement in accordance with Georgia regulations
  • Minimum 1 year of infusion therapy experience as an advanced practice provider, or relevant experience managing complex chronic conditions
  • Strong competency in IV therapy and vascular access (peripheral IVs, ports, PICCs)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong clinical judgment with the ability to function independently within established protocols
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across interdisciplinary teams
  • High attention to detail, particularly in documentation and regulatory compliance
  • Patient-centered mindset with a commitment to clinical excellence and professionalism
  • Comfort working within EMR systems and technology-enabled workflows

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing patients with neurologic, immunologic, or other complex chronic conditions preferred

Responsibilities

  • Performing comprehensive initial and ongoing patient assessments , including history, physical exam, and clinical evaluation prior to treatment
  • Interpreting laboratory and diagnostic data to support clinical decision-making and therapy appropriateness
  • Developing and managing individualized plans of care in collaboration with the prescribing provider
  • Overseeing and supporting the administration of specialty biologic and disease-modifying infusion and injectable therapies , ensuring adherence to provider orders, clinical protocols, and INS standards
  • Monitoring for and managing infusion-related reactions and clinical changes, including escalation of care when appropriate
  • Providing patient and caregiver education on therapy expectations, side effects, and disease-state considerations
  • Documenting all encounters accurately and timely, including HPI, ROS, assessment, plan, and appropriate ICD-10/CPT coding
  • Ensuring compliance with HIPAA, accreditation standards (e.g., ACHC), and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborating with physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and reimbursement teams to ensure coordinated, efficient care delivery
  • Facilitating referrals or additional workup when clinically indicated
  • Participating in on-call coverage as needed, including occasional after-hours or weekend support
  • Supporting clinical quality initiatives, protocols, and process improvement efforts
