About The Position

The US Oncology Network is looking for a PRN Information Technology (IT) Operations Intern to join our team at Texas Oncology! This full-time position will support our Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas locations. Regular travel to these practices is required. Requirements

  • 0-3 years experience in IT
  • High School Diploma and working on an Associates or Bachelor's degree
  • Prior experience in PC imaging and deployment preferred.
  • A+ certification and MCP in Microsoft Office preferred, but not required.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and configure PCs for deployment, including imaging and installation of necessary software.
  • Deploy PCs to end users, ensuring all systems are operational and meet user requirements.
  • Document and maintain records of end-user issues at deployment time.
  • Troubleshoot basic end-user questions and problems, providing basic user support as needed when deploying new hardware.
  • Follow standard operating procedures for imaging, testing, and deploying PCs.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure smooth and efficient deployment processes.
  • Maintain an inventory of hardware and software components required for imaging and deployment.
  • Provide training and support to end users on new hardware and software as needed.
