About The Position
The PRN Youth House Residential Support Specialist position at Our Spot KC involves working closely with LGBTQ+ clients in the Lion House Program. The primary goal of this role is to support residents in overcoming barriers, obtaining necessary documentation, and holding them accountable for the goals they set. This position requires a compassionate and organized individual who can provide supervision to the Youth House Residents, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Responsibilities include preparing meals, maintaining cleanliness in the facility, and performing various daily tasks as needed. The specialist will also engage with residents, helping to foster a positive community atmosphere while maintaining appropriate boundaries. This role is crucial in collaborating with Our Spot KC and Lion House staff to deliver the best possible services and programs to clients, residents, and community members.
