About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team as a PRN (as needed) employee in staffing department. As a PRN Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for assisting the pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing of medications to patients.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program
• Active Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Texas
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed
• IV certified

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital setting
• Knowledge of pharmacy computer systems and software

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing of medications to patients
• Accurately and efficiently fill medication orders
• Maintain inventory levels of medications and supplies
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
