Requirements

• Master's degree in divinity (MDiv) or equivalent theological degree
• Experience working with death, dying individuals, and their families
• Comfort in interfaith settings and ability to accept diverse beliefs
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Valid driver's license
• Valid Auto Insurance

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of hospice philosophy and experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct spiritual assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Provide direct spiritual care to patients and families
• Collaborate with community clergy and spiritual counselors
• Maintain accurate spiritual care service records
• Attend team meetings and offer spiritual care expertise
• Recruit and supervise spiritual care volunteers
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
