As a dedicated Hospice Chaplain, you will serve a vital role in providing compassionate spiritual and emotional support to individuals and families navigating the complexities of end-of-life care. Your responsibilities include conducting spiritual assessments, offering counseling, and facilitating religious rituals or ceremonies tailored to the beliefs and preferences of patients. Collaborating with the interdisciplinary hospice team, you will contribute to holistic care plans, participate in advance care planning discussions, and provide bereavement support. Your role involves being a source of comfort during challenging times, fostering a sense of peace, meaning, and connection. Additionally, as part of on-call duties, you will be available to address urgent spiritual needs and crises, ensuring continuous availability of support during evenings, weekends, and holidays. This position requires a deep commitment to respecting diverse spiritual and cultural beliefs, contributing to the overall well-being of those under hospice care.
