About The Position
Varco Home Health is seeking a PRN Home Health RN to provide one-on-one care in patients’ homes in Elmendorf and surrounding areas. This position offers flexibility, independence, and meaningful patient care, making it suitable for nurses looking for work-life balance or supplemental income. The role involves performing in-home patient assessments, developing and following individualized care plans, providing skilled nursing care, educating patients and caregivers on home care and safety, monitoring patient progress, and completing timely and accurate documentation.
Requirements
- Active Texas RN license
- Strong clinical judgment and adaptability
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Reliable transportation & valid driver’s license

Responsibilities
- Perform in-home patient assessments
- Develop and follow individualized care plans
- Provide skilled nursing care (wound care, meds, catheter care, chronic disease management)
