About The Position
Provides health care services applying x-ray energy and computer processing techniques to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Assists in fluoroscopic procedures with Radiologist/PA, performs general radiology exams, performs computed tomography (CT) and related procedures to demonstrate sectional anatomic images for interpretation by, or at the request of, a licensed independent practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient’s conditions for successful completion of the procedure: i.e., the age, physical ability, and/or the mental status of the patient.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ARRT
- LRRT
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year of experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT and radiologic procedures as ordered by the physician.
- Insure that equipment necessary to perform related duties is operational accessible and properly maintained.
- Assures compliance with all regulatory agencies.
