Sport Ortho Urgent Care is an outpatient practice that is part of a comprehensive orthopedic model. We are committed to offering an innovative experience to patients by having an integrated approach with a team of providers, including Orthopedic Physician Assistants and Physical Therapists. The Opportunity Sport Ortho Urgent Care is currently seeking a highly motivated Limited Scope X-Ray Tech or Radiologic Technologist. This position includes both XR and Medical Assistant responsibilities while being an integral part of a collaborative, patient-centered team. We welcome full-scope or limited-scope applicants. Requirements
- Tennessee X-Ray Operator License (Required)
- ARRT Certification
Responsibilities
- Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images.
- Position equipment and adjust controls to set exposure time and distance per specifications.
- Take x-rays following established radiologic requirements and safety standards.
- Provide overall support for providers and daily clinic operations.
- Assist with scheduling, answering multi-line phones, and processing referrals.
- Administer injections, apply bracing, casting, and durable medical equipment.
