What You'll Do as a Field Nurse (LPN) As a home health LPN, you will provide essential hands‑on care to patients in their homes, ensuring they receive high‑quality, individualized support. Your responsibilities include:

Requirements

  • Active LPN license in the state of Oklahoma
  • CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days)
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel long distances and adapt to schedule changes
  • Basic computer skills
  • Success in this role requires strong communication, time management, adaptability, problem‑solving skills, and a compassionate, patient‑focused mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in home health, critical care, or emergency care is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Performing skilled nursing tasks such as injections, wound care, and equipment preparation
  • Teaching patients' self‑care techniques to promote independence
  • Communicating with RNs and case managers to update care plans and clarify instructions
  • Assisting RNs or physicians with specialized procedures
  • Following all oral and written care instructions
  • Practicing infection control and universal precautions
  • Reporting suspected abuse in accordance with state and federal guidelines
  • Maintaining punctuality, accurate documentation, and required driving records
