About The Position

Ramp Health is seeking experienced, proactive PRN EMTs to support our Medical Response Team at a large construction project in the River West area of Chicago. This role is ideal for EMTs who enjoy an occupational health and safety environment and want to make a daily impact on worker wellbeing—without the commitment of a full-time schedule. As a PRN EMT, you will respond to medical incidents onsite and support a strong safety culture through active engagement with crews when not handling injuries. This is not a sit-and-wait position. When not providing direct care, you will be active and visible on the jobsite: Promote safe work habits and injury-prevention practices through daily interactions. Conduct walk-throughs to observe work zones and support safety reinforcement. Talk with crew members about hydration, fatigue, PPE use, and general wellbeing. Partner with safety leadership to support a strong, collaborative safety culture. Provide reminders and education on lifting techniques, early reporting, stretching, and more. Your presence should encourage workers to approach you early—with concerns, discomfort, or questions. If you are a skilled, engagement-focused EMT who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, we encourage you to apply. Ramp Health is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other classification protected by law. Join Ramp Health and help us bring meaningful, accessible healthcare to the workplace—one site at a time.
