About The Position

We are pleased to announce the following available position: PRN ECT Registered Nurse This position is in charge of and responsible for the operation of the ECT room. Assigns duties to and supervises the performance of other nursing staff. Makes frequent assessments of patients and reports any change in condition to the team leader and/or physician. Secures orders from physician, makes appropriate entries in chart, administers prescribed medications and treatments. Provides nursing care to patients, does patient teaching. Makes out reports and requisitions. Assists in other areas of ECT as needed.

Requirements

Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing, whether it be a diploma, Associates Degree or a Baccalaureate program.
Must hold and maintain a current Florida Nursing License.
Should have a thorough knowledge of nursing principles and procedures with knowledge and skill techniques of good patient care and interpersonal relationships.
Recovery room experience preferred.
