About The Position

At La Vida Llena, a not-for-profit Life Plan Community, residents enjoy a vibrant community that offers a range of opportunities for creative, educational and personal exploration. This friendly neighborhood campus provides amenities available on-site and a continuum of healthcare including Assisted Living, Memory Care and Skilled Nursing. We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Driver to join our team. What you’ll be doing: You will provide driving services to residents and guests of the community in an effort to promote a progressive customer service model. Participate in required training programs and maintain strong knowledge of safety and emergency procedures. Safely operate community vehicles—including wheelchair lifts—and provide transportation for medical appointments, outings, errands, and events. Perform basic vehicle upkeep, including pre‑trip inspections, minor preventive maintenance, emergency supply checks, and maintaining interior cleanliness. Assist residents in and out of vehicles, including handling walkers and wheelchairs, and perform other duties as assigned. Pay: $16.00 + / hr DOE

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in driving cars and/or buses, transportation services, or a related field.
  • Valid driver’s license and meet Pacific Retirement Services' (PRS’s) Employment Driver Guidelines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
