The CT Technologist is responsible for patient safety and the performance of high quality CT studies. This role includes ensuring effective communication with customers, including radiologists as necessary. In some instances, the technologist will train new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators. Specific duties include ensuring patient safety, producing high quality diagnostic images, effectively communicating with customers and/or radiologists, training new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators, and troubleshooting the scanner and all peripheral equipment such as monitors and PACS.
