About The Position

The PRN CT Technologist works under minimal supervision to assist the Lead CT technologist in performing diagnostic CT procedures for patients; works effectively with patients and other clinic personnel; assists with PACS and outside films; and routes patients and/or their images to the appropriate nurse's station. Clinic hours: Mon - Fri 7:30a – 5pm. This PRN position will provide coverage as needed for vacation and sick/FMLA time.

Requirements

• Graduation from a certified Radiological Technology Program
• R.T. Certification
• Must set reasonable goal to obtain CT certification by the A.R.R.T as agreed upon hire
• 2 years’ experience, preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic procedures as required: achieve a high level of image quality
• Be observant for scan artifacts and keep them to a minimum
• Obtain patient history as needed
• Proficient IV skills
• Other job duties as assigned by Director and/or CT Lead
