We are seeking a Cook PRN for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Under general supervision, prepares, seasons, and cooks a wide variety of food items in appropriate quantities while following menus, recipes and production sheets while maintaining a clean and sanitary work area. Communicates with other production staff regarding menus, recipes and portion sizes. Provides training and guidance to other employees performing related work.

Requirements

• High School Graduate/Equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in healthcare preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in quantity cooking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, seasons, and cooks a wide variety of food items in appropriate quantities.
• Follows menus, recipes, and production sheets while maintaining a clean and sanitary work area.
• Communicates with other production staff regarding menus, recipes, and portion sizes.
• Provides training and guidance to other employees performing related work.
• Adheres to HACCP/food safety guidelines/policies & procedures.
• Utilizes proper equipment to produce standard recipes.
• Utilizes systems to quality process/standards in food production.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
