About The Position

Apalachee Center, Inc. provides comprehensive behavioral health services across 8 counties (Franklin, Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, Madison, Taylor, and Wakulla Counties). Overview: Serve as a cook and performing general food preparation and cooking duties, and food service sanitation duties.
Requirements
- Prior food service experience preferred.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Responsibilities
- Performs cooking and food preparation duties including therapeutic diets.
- Serves meals to clients.
- Determines portions to be cooked (production).
- Maintains the work area, washes and sanitizes dishes, utensils, pots, pans, counter tops and other equipment used in meal preparation.
- Completes appropriate labeling of trays and paying close attention to diet needs.
