About The Position

Iowa Women & Men’s Health Center is looking for a PRN CMA, LPN, or RN to join our fun, busy, and energetic team!
This is a PRN (as-needed) position, ideal for someone who enjoys flexibility while working in a fast-paced medical environment. We’re seeking a motivated team player who can step in seamlessly, support multiple providers, and help us deliver an exceptional patient experience.
This role will be cross-trained to support multiple provider schedules. The ability to jump in and assist wherever needed is essential.

Requirements

• CMA, LPN, or RN credentials (Required)
• Outstanding customer service skills (Required)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Must be available during regular office hours
• Flexibility and reliability are key

Nice To Haves

• EMR experience: 1 year (preferred)
• Vital signs experience: 1 year (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and preparing them for exams
• Obtaining and entering patient information into EMR
• Performing CLIA-moderate complexity lab tests
• Administering and documenting injections
• Assisting providers with in-office procedures
• Managing and triaging patient calls efficiently
• Phlebotomy (preferred)
• Daily instrument sterilization
• Maintaining clinical, safety, and laboratory standards
• Coverage for provider schedule needs, PTO, high-volume days, and call-outs
