About The Position

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a PRN Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our team at Eastern Reception, Diagnostic, and Correctional Center located in Bonne Terre, Missouri. Certified Medication Technician (CMT) is under the direction of the facility Director of Nursing/nursing designee, administers medications as prescribed, documents administration and documents and reports any noted adverse actions or side effects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must maintain active status on the Missouri State Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Registry (mo.tmutest.com).
• Insulin certification required.
• Completion of an approved Certified Nurse Assistant program and maintenance of active status as a Certified Nurse Assistant (mo.tmutest.com).
• Must maintain current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR/AED certification.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.

Nice To Haves

• One year experience in acute care, emergency or correctional setting preferred.
