About The Position

As a Certified Obstetric Surgical Technologist at HCA Healthcare, you'll be a valued part of a highly collaborative team that is passionate about delivering newborns safely and with the highest standards of care, while honoring each professional's skills and expertise in obstetrics and surgery. Requirements

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
  • 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Responsibilities

  • Preparing the surgical suite and organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies to support safe, efficient procedures
  • Assisting with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety
  • Providing instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures
  • Maintaining a sterile field, performing counts, and ensuring instruments and equipment function properly
  • Working closely with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience
