About The Position
A Day in the Life A Biomedical Equipment Tech II at Munson Healthcare is a candidate with 2 years of experience working with Biomedical equipment in a hospital setting. Under supervision of Clinical Engineering Coordinators and management, Biomedical Equipment Tech II’s are expected to be proficient with all test equipment, preventative maintenance and repair procedures, and CMMS database use.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in a technical or electronics field or equivalent experience OR be military trained in biomedical equipment service or equivalent technical field.
- 2 years experience in healthcare biomedical equipment repair and calibration
- Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
- MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
