About The Position

Ramp Health, the pioneer and largest national provider of on-site wellness coaching, is seeking a PRN Athletic Trainer (ATC) to support our client in Saline, MI. In this role, you will provide as-needed, on-site care to employees, focusing on safety, injury prevention, and overall wellness. Learn more at Ramp Health. Position Summary (PRN): Respond to on-site emergencies and provide first aid for minor injuries. Deliver individualized or group injury prevention education and treatment. Coach employees on behavior change, safety, and injury prevention through personalized guidance. Participate in emergency response drills and regular site safety walks. Perform inspections of safety equipment, including AEDs, safety showers, and spill kits. Document interventions, support case management, and communicate findings with medical professionals as needed.

Requirements

  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond effectively in urgent situations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and positively represent Ramp Health.
  • Professional, outgoing, and personable demeanor.
  • Applicants must pass a background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR/AED Instructor Certification.
  • 1+ years coaching experience in fitness, wellness, or occupational health.
  • Experience with EMR/SOAP documentation and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of Motivational Interviewing techniques.
  • Ability to take manual blood pressure readings.
