About The Position

Variable Shifts available - 5:30am-2pm OR 11am-7:30pm with weekend rotation - NOT benefit eligible. Serves, prepares, assembles and delivers food according to specified menu and dietary procedures. Performs proper cleaning and sanitation of foodservice dishes, utensils, equipment, and work area. Follows all HACCP and Food Safety Regulations. Successful performance of this work will result in safe, attractive, and delicious food to patients and guests of UPH-DM. Provides exemplary customer service skills. Must be able to deliver, set up and serve food to patients and guests on a limited time schedule.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, or currently enrolled in high school.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, portions, serves, and stores food according to specified menu and dietary procedures.
• Performs proper cleaning and sanitation of foodservice utensils, dishes, equipment, and work area.
• Provides exemplary customer service skills.
• Must be able to deliver, set up and serve food to patients, visitors and staff on a limited time schedule.
• Perform specified cash handling duties.
