About The Position

ICC (Intensive Care Consortium) is seeking a PRN experienced acute care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join MountainView Hospital Las Vegas, Nevada. The position requires the candidate to be acute care certified in Nevada or an experienced ICU PA, with ICU experience being mandatory. The role involves working approximately 4-6 shifts per month, with the flexibility to work days or nights in 12-hour shifts. The staffing model includes 2 MDs during the day and 1 MD and 1 APP at night. Additionally, the candidate should be willing to cover at the sister facility, Southern Hills in Vegas PRN.

Requirements

• Acute care certified in Nevada or experienced ICU PA.
• ICU experience required.
• Proficient with and credentialed to perform routine Critical Care procedures.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including days and nights.

Nice To Haves

• Interest in covering at sister facility, Southern Hills in Vegas PRN.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute care services in the ICU setting.
• Perform routine Critical Care procedures including central and arterial line placement, thoracentesis, intubations, and management of mechanical ventilation.
• Work PRN, approximately 4-6 shifts per month.
• Collaborate with a team of MDs and APPs to ensure high-quality patient care.
