About The Position

ICC (Intensive Care Consortium) is seeking an experienced nocturnist PRN acute care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center in Houston, Texas.

Requirements

• Acute care certified NP or experienced PA.
• At least 12 months experience in Cardiology/CV Surgical ICU preferred.
• Proficient with and credentialed to perform routine Critical Care procedures.
• Comfortable running Cardiac Arrest Codes.
• Intubation experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute care in a 12-bed medical ICU and 22-bed CVICU.
• Work PRN, covering 4-6 shifts per month, nights only.
• Perform routine Critical Care procedures including central and arterial line placement, and management of mechanical ventilation.
• Run Cardiac Arrest Codes.
• Collaborate with MDs and other APPs during shifts.
