About The Position
We are pleased to announce the following available position: PRN ACTIVITY THERAPIST The Activity Therapist plans and conducts varied group and individual recreation therapy for all patients. Additionally, the Activity Therapist helps coordinate scheduling and programming, Provides groups and AT assessments for behavioral health inpatient clients all ages River Point Behavioral Health, a subsidiary of UHS, is an 84-bed treatment facility, conveniently located in beautiful central Jacksonville, FL that specializes in the successful treatment of substance abuse and mental health issues for youth, adults and seniors. Requirements
- A four year degree in Recreation or related field preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Preferably certified through National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification or meets requirements to be certified.
- Prefer Art Therapist, Yoga Instructor or Music Therapist.
- Certified Therapeutic Recreation Therapist (CTRS) preferred.
