Minden Medical Center of Minden, LA is seeking to hire a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional patient care in the Emergency Department at our hospital. Requirements

• Current RN licensure with the Louisiana State Board of Nursing
• CPR certification
• Ability to obtain ACLS and PALS within 6 months of employment
• Completion of Pediatric Trauma Course (ENPC) within 6 months of employment
• At least a year of medical/surgical and/or emergency department (ED) experience is preferred, but not required.

Nice To Haves

• TNCC certification is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Provide quality bedside care to patients of all ages with various medical needs.
• Execute physician orders and prioritize exceptional care and service.
• Attend to patients in the Emergency Department, addressing both complex and less complex medical needs.
• Work independently while maintaining a calm demeanor and quick-thinking in emergency situations.
