About The Position

Private Wealth Associate Location: Hybrid At Alera Group, our Private Wealth team supports advisors and clients in managing investment processes with accuracy, service excellence, and operational precision. We’re seeking a Private Wealth Associate who will play a key role in supporting new and existing broker-dealer business, ensuring smooth asset movement, and maintaining compliance and operational systems. Requirements

  • Undergraduate college degree
  • 1+ years of experience in a professional office environment (Investment and Insurance Services preferred)
  • Experience with data entry and administrative task execution
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to balance multiple priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Life & Health, SIE, Series 7 & 66, and insurance licenses preferred; must be obtained within 12 months of hire if not already held
  • Experience in investment services, financial operations, or broker-dealer environments

Responsibilities

  • Support advisors and client service associates on new and existing broker-dealer business
  • Receive, review, and process new and existing investment business
  • Facilitate follow-up and interaction between advisors, Broker Dealer/Custodian, and outside vendors
  • Process asset movements, including journals, wire transfers, and EFTs
  • Ensure accurate completion and documentation of all investment-related submissions
  • Accurately maintain compliance blotters, including Check Deposits and Applications
  • Maintain department software systems, including CRM and Central Filing
  • Become proficient on the Osiac broker-dealer platform
  • Ensure timely and accurate updates across all internal systems
