About The Position
Love swimming and working with children? We got you. Passionate about teaching the lifesaving skill of swimming? We are looking for individuals, age 18+ to serve as private swim instructors. As a private swim instructor, you develop important skills such as communication, leadership and responsibility that will serve you for a lifetime!
Requirements
- Age 18+
- Experience with kids and passionate about teaching children to swim
- Ability to pass American Red Cross CPR Certification
- Ability to complete our in-water skills assessment
- Must be able to travel to several branches in Lehigh Valley Region
Responsibilities
- Working with groups and individuals to help them achieve their swim-skill goals
- Ensuring that lessons are conducted in accordance with the YMCA's internal lesson plans and policies
- Ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for the students to thrive in
