What You'll Do Support Special Education Teachers and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) in creating a warm, structured, and engaging classroom environment Use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to help students follow their individualized education programs (IEPs) Assist with academic lessons, behavioral supports, and leisure activities that enhance each student's quality of life Arrive before the school day to prepare materials, review updates, and ensure a smooth and positive start for students Follow an individualized model that balances structure with flexibility, helping students expand beyond rigid routines Participate in ongoing professional development, including receiving constructive feedback and collaborating closely with a supportive team Who You Are Dedicated to supporting children and adolescents in an educational environment Passionate about helping students build independence, communication, and confidence Positive, collaborative, and eager to work closely with teachers, BCBAs, and fellow paraprofessionals Comfortable engaging with students of varying needs, interests, and abilities Able to stay active throughout the school day and maintain a safe, supportive learning environment
