About The Position
Cambria Somerset Radiology & Nuclear Medicine Group (CSR) is an independently owned successful practice of 47 years comprised of 8 full-time and 3 part-time board certified, sub-specialty trained Radiologists including a full IR service providing care for Cambria and Somerset Counties in Western Pennsylvania. We are the only private radiology practice in the area and own and operate a successful specialized vein center in the hospital. CSR has a long-standing reading contract with Conemaugh Health System, located in Johnstown, PA and currently owned by Duke LifePoint Healthcare. The local network of hospitals CSR serves consists of Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, which is a 537-bed tertiary care level 1 trauma facility and flagship hospital, 3 satellite hospitals (Miners, Meyersdale and Nason) and Conemaugh East Hills outpatient facility, housing diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT, Mammography, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine), laboratory services and physician offices. We are seeking a diagnostic radiologist in which an onsite partnership track is preferred, with opportunities for equal ownership and further growth. The optimal candidate is a highly motivated individual who wants to practice high quality radiology in a large teaching institution, while in a stable, secure environment and using state-of-the-art equipment. Ideal candidates are comfortable with MRI and/or mammography; however a versatile radiologist will still be strongly considered. Our practice offers the best of both worlds, in a challenging, diverse, independent and satisfying scope of practice, coupled with a private practice lifestyle. Most workdays are 7:30-5:00 (with a 4.5-day workweek) and call is shared evenly amongst the group. Telerad coverage starts at 8pm on weekdays (Monday through Thursday) and 5 pm on Friday through Sunday. It is a very collegial group and the practice fosters and maintains excellent working relationships with referring physicians and hospital administration.
