About The Position

At Musicologie, we believe everyone deserves a great music teacher. We’re a community of passionate musicians, educators, and dreamers on a mission to change lives through music—starting with our youngest learners. We’re looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and versatile teacher who loves working with kids and families. In this role, you’ll teach private lessons on your instrument or voice and lead joyful, play-based early childhood classes through Musicologie Junior (our research-backed program for ages 0–5).

Requirements

• A piano player, guitar player, or vocalist.
• Passionate about working with young children and families.
• A natural communicator who shines with both kids and parents.
• Reliable, organized, and enthusiastic.

Nice To Haves

• A degree in music or early childhood education.
• Experience performing, leading groups, or working in creative environments.

Responsibilities

• Teach private lessons to students of all ages, adapting lessons to fit their goals and abilities.
• Lead 40-minute Musicologie Junior classes for ages 0–5 and their grown-ups—singing, moving, dancing, and playing simple instruments.
• Create a warm, inclusive, and playful environment for every student and family.
• Support our mission of music for every child by helping build community through performances, group classes, and events.
