In this role, you will be responsible for soliciting residential mortgages from various sources and producing high-quality jumbo loans while ensuring compliance and providing excellent customer service. A key aspect of the position involves building relationships with affluent borrowers, realtors, builders, financial professionals, bank stores, and other non-traditional sources. You will also be expected to develop and maintain a high degree of visibility for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in the marketplace, staying informed of mortgage industry trends and developments. The role requires presenting recommendations for loan production, exercising independent judgment, and adhering to Private Mortgage Banking Sales policies and compliance requirements. You will need to understand real estate appraisals, title reports, and real estate transactions, as well as receive customer applications, quote rates, and complete follow-up activities. Analyzing financial and credit data to match customer needs with appropriate loan programs is also a core function. This SAFE position involves customer contact and duties that may include offering/negotiating terms and/or taking applications for dwelling-secured transactions, requiring compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation results and Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z.
